Addiction Science Scholarship Offered by The Addiction Recovery Center

For over 20 years, The Addiction Recovery Center Addiction Treatment Programs has provided high quality treatment for drug addiction and alcoholism, as well as a variety of substance use disorders. The Addiction Recovery Center is an accredited and state-licensed rehabilitation center that also offers financial scholarships for students seeking to further their education.

The Addiction Recovery Center offers a $1,000 scholarship for individuals pursuing a degree and/or career in the field of Addiction Sciences.

How to Apply for The Addiction Recovery Center’s Addiction Science Scholarship

To enter to win the $1,000 scholarship, you will need to write and submit an essay (up to 500 words) that expresses your desire to work in the Addiction Science field.

In your essay, be sure to include what interests you most about the Addiction Science field, what you would like to achieve with your degree in Addiction Science, and why you feel that you should receive The Addiction Recovery Center’s Addiction Science Scholarship most.

Please feel free to share your personal experiences with addiction or substance use disorders, if you should have any, and explain how it has driven you to pursue a degree and career in the Addiction Science field.

Description of the Addiction Science Scholarship

The Addiction Recovery Center will provide a $1,000 scholarship to the winning individual for a degree in the Addiction Science field. Some areas of study that are in the Addiction Science field include addiction studies, mental health, neurochemistry, etc.

Eligibility & Requirements for the Addiction Science Scholarship

• Eligibility & Requirements Eligibility for The Addiction Recovery Center’s Addiction Science Scholarship includes meeting the following:
  • •United States citizenship or permanent residency
  • •Either enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university for a degree in the Addiction Science field

Amount: $1,000 scholarship towards degree in Addiction Science field

Deadline: November 1, 2018 (for January 2019 Semester) and June 30, 2019 (for Fall 2019 Semester)

Please note this is a one-time scholarship.

Award Selection Process for the Addiction Science Scholarship
