Intensive Outpatient
Returning to Life with our Intensive Outpatient Program and Residential Rehabilitation.
Patients who have progressed in their recovery efforts in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) will transition into our residential drug treatment center, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). While continuing to live at our Florida residential rehabilitation facilities, The Residence, they have the ability to work or go to school during the day and attend therapy groups in the evenings.
The Addiction Recovery Center’s IOP residential rehabilitation program is perfect for people who are ready to return to work, school, or other responsibilities and do not require a higher level of primary care. Residents spend up to 10 hours each week (at least 3 days a week) in a structured, supportive group setting led by licensed professionals at our substance abuse treatment facility.
The Intensive Outpatient Program uses a 12-Step proven clinical treatment method to help you make positive changes in your life. Patients participate in the following activities:
- Group counseling
- Individual counseling
- Groups for men and women
- Family group
- Spirituality awareness
- Relapse prevention
- 12-Step meetings (off-site)
- Education classes
Located in a comfortable and relaxed setting at our Florida residential rehabilitation facility, IOP provides intensive treatment of addiction care among an empathetic and supportive community of peers. Group therapies are used to promote coping skills, stress management, goal achievement and treatment compliance.
Residents can still receive therapy, medical attention, and psychiatric services on an as-needed basis for healthy living. All of the Intensive Outpatient Program’s groups and sessions are geared toward treating the underlying causes of addiction and facilitating lasting recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. Our goal is to empower each person to work towards becoming their “best self”, thereby learning new ways to cope with stress, anxiety and depression for a healthy everyday lifestyle.
