Christopher Crosby, CEO

In a career that has spanned some 25 years, Christopher Crosby’s unwavering dedication to loving the alcoholic and addict back to health has literally transformed tens of thousands of lives.Now Chris is equally committed to putting a postive face on recovery, “Addicts can recover. Addicts do recover. Recovering people are vital, contributing members to our society. We must make it acceptable to be in recovery in America.”

Vanda Milman, PhD, LMHC

Dr. Milman holds a Ph.D from Southern Illinois University. Her Ph.D research was in the area of Cognitive Development. She was a Visiting Research Fellow in the Psychology Department, Neuroscience Program at Princeton University in Dr. Bary Jacobs Laboratory. She is an Advisory Board Member for the Ph.D Program in the Mental Health Counseling Department at Florida Atlantic University. She has over 15 years of experience as a Psychotherapist and Administrator in a variety of Psychiatric and Addictions Treatment Programs. Her areas of interet include: Emotional Inteligence and Recovery, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Mood Disorders, The Role of Multicultural Issues in Recovery, Women's Issues and the Recovery Process. She functions as The Vice President of Clinical Operations at the Watershed Treatment Programs.

Patrick Kirse

Chief Financial Officer and a Certified Public Account (CPA) licensed in Missouri. As the CFO, Mr. Kirse is responsible for the oversight of the companies Business Office, Patient Accounts, Accounting and Finance Departments. Additionally, Mr. Kirse negotiates rates and contracts with Managed Care Providers and Insurance Companies.

Jason M. Jerry, MD

Medical Director of the Watershed Treatment Centers of the Palm Beaches. Dr. Jerry is a board-certified Psychiatrist with expertise in addictionology and is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Toledo and received his M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his residency training in Psychiatry at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Medical where he served his last year as Chief-Resident.

With his extensive experience in treating a large chemically dependent population during his residency training (at one of the nation’s busiest psychiatric emergency rooms), Dr. Jerry made the decision to devote his career to the treatment of addictions.Dr. Jerry's interests include the neurobiology of addiction, psychiatric co-morbidities, and psychotherapeutic approaches to the treatment of chemical dependency.

Dr. Syed Ahmed, MD, FAPA

Dr. Syed Ahmed is currently the Medical Director at the Watershed at Clearlake.

Dr. Ahmed trained at UTMB Galveston where he received an award for Best Research Paper 1987, and has presented papers at the International convention of IMANA.

Dr. Ahmed is board certified in Adult Psychiatry, certified by the (ABPN) American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition, he is board certified in Addiction and Geriatric Psychiatry.

His achievement includes being the Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine, Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Peter Theodoropoulos

Dr. Theodoropoulos is currently the Medical Psychiatric Director for Rehab and PHP at The Watershed Treatment Programs.

Dr. Theodoropoulos graduated from the University of Michigan Pre-medicine in 1995. He continued his studies at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 1992 where he received his Doctor of Medicine.

Certifications include ECFMG (Science), FLEX (Clinical), USMLE 2 & 3 (clinical).

Dr. Theodoropoulos continued his training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital where he completed a five year residency and fellowship program in Adult child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He was also their chief Fellow.

Dr. Sherman, MD, PhD

Dr. Sherman consults with the Watershed on quality assurance and utilization review.

Dr. Sherman holds a PhD from Harvard University and has 40 years experience in clinical psychology.

Dr. Mark Hernandez

Dr Hernandez is currently a Medical Clinical Doctor at the Watershed Treatment Programs.

Dr Hernandez studied at the Instituto Tecnologico De Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from University of Miami 1994, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 1999. His professional Associations include, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.

Steve Demarco

Steve Demarco functions as the Clinical Supervisor for the Admissions Department at the Watershed. Steve is a National Certified Addiction Counselor and has over 14 years experience in Addiction and Psychiatric Treatment. He has worked as an Interventionist, Counselor, and Admissions Specialist.

Jackie Glass

Jackie Glass is currently the Program Director of the Family Weekend Program here at the Watershed. Jackie is a CEU provider and a Supervisor of Social Work and Mental Health Interns.

Jackie received her Masters of Social Work specializing in Mental Health from Barry University. She has over 10 years experience as an individual, family and group psychotherapist, specializing in mental health and Dual Diagnosis issues.
