The internship program will include a primary placement at the Watershed’s Boynton Beach facility. Our Boynton Beach facility is a 120-bed detoxification and rehabilitation treatment program for male and female adults suffering from drug and/or alcohol addiction. The facility houses 40 females and 80 males. Interns may also spend a portion of their internship at The Addiction Recovery Center’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The Addiction Recovery Center internship’s principal goal is to provide doctoral candidates in psychology a well-rounded experience, primarily within the domain of chemical dependency. This 2,000 hour program consists of training and supervised experience over a span of twelve months.
