On Friday, December 11, 2005 at the 20th Annual CARP Holiday Gala in West Palm Beach, Robert Bozzone, Executive Director and CEO of CARP presented Christopher Crosby with the Peter Fairclough Memorial Recognition Award.
Peter Fairclough Memorial Recognition Award Recipients are people who have helped further the field of chemical dependency treatment. The year, CARP, Inc. (Comprehensive Alcoholism Rehabilitation Programs, Inc.) recognized special individuals who have contributed greatly to help further the field of chemical dependency treatment in Palm Beach County.
Mr. Crosby has worked in the addiction field for over 25 years. He is the Chief Executive Officer of The Watershed Addiction Treatment Programs and has been passionately committed to promoting and supporting addiction recovery both professionally and in his community. He has an unwavering dedication to loving the alcoholic and addict back to health and believes that “addicts can recover; addicts do recover; and recovering people are vital and contributing members of our society”.
Christopher Crosby is honored and would like to express his heartfelt appreciation in receiving such a prestigious award. He is proud to support CARP and its mission to motivate, educate and inspire people to enter the lifelong process of recovery and would like to encourage all addiction professionals to join Florida CARES, a non-profit recovery advocacy organization.
