Addiction Recovery Scholarship Offered by The Addiction Recovery Center

Since 1998, The Addiction Recovery Center Addiction Treatment Programs has been providing top quality treatment for substance use disorders, including drug addiction and alcoholism. As a state-licensed and accredited treatment facility, The Addiction Recovery Center has been able to help over 55,000 patients. In addition to this, The Addiction Recovery Center awards financial scholarships to students who wish to further advance their education.

The Addiction Recovery Center offers a $1,000 scholarship for individuals in recovery from drug addiction and/or alcoholism who wish to further their education at an accredited college and/or university.

How to Apply for The Addiction Recovery Center’s Addiction Recovery Scholarship

In order to win the $1,000 scholarship, you must write and submit an essay (up to 500 words) that describes why you are passionate about advancing your education.

In your essay, you should also include why you are interested in the field you have chosen, how your recovery has affected your desire to advance your education, and why you deserve The Addiction Recovery Center’s Recovery Scholarship.

You can incorporate your personal experiences with addiction and how you were able to overcome it in order to regain stability as well.

Description of the Addiction Recovery Scholarship

The Addiction Recovery Center will provide a $1,000 scholarship to a winning individual who has been in recovery from drug addiction and/or alcoholism for at least 2 years as well as completed 1 year at an accredited college or university.

Eligibility & Requirements for the Addiction Recovery Scholarship

Eligibility for The Addiction Recovery Center’s Health Care Scholarship includes meeting the following:

•United States citizenship or permanent residency
•Completed 1 year at an accredited college or university
•Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
•Have been in recovery from drug addiction and/or alcoholism for at least 2 years

Amount: $1,000 scholarship towards degree

Deadline: November 1, 2018 (for January 2019 Semester) and June 30, 2019 (for Fall 2019 Semester)

Please note this is a one-time scholarship.

Award Selection Process for the Addiction Recovery Scholarship

The winner will be selected and awarded with The Addiction Recovery Center’s Addiction Recovery scholarship based on the following:

•All information on application is completed.
•The essay is an original piece of work.
•Creativity is demonstrated.
•Writing skill is apparent.
•An interest in education is clear
The Addiction Recovery Center Addiction Treatment Programs will notify the selected individual about winning the $1,000 Addiction Recovery Scholarship before the next semester starts and then the scholarship will be credited towards tuition at the accredited college or university.
